Transparent & Hassle-Free Refund Process

We value your trust and strive to ensure that every transaction you make with Raido Bike Taxi is secure, transparent, and fair.

1. Introduction

This Refund Policy explains the terms and conditions under which Raido Bike Taxi (“we”, “our”, or “us”) processes cancellations, refunds, and payment-related issues for customers (“you” or “your”). By booking a ride or using our services, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

2. Scope of Policy

This policy applies to all users who book rides, make payments, or use Raido Bike Taxi’s services via mobile applications, website, or any affiliated channels within India.

3. Payment Confirmation

  • All payments made for ride bookings are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways.
  • Upon successful payment, users receive a confirmation SMS, email, or in-app notification containing ride and transaction details.
  • In case of payment failure, the amount (if debited) will be automatically refunded to your source account within 5–7 business days.

4. Ride Cancellations by Customer

  • If a ride is cancelled before driver assignment, no cancellation charge is applied.
  • If a ride is cancelled after driver assignment but before arrival, a minimal cancellation fee may apply to cover operational costs.
  • If the driver has already reached the pickup location, standard cancellation charges will be applied as shown in the app.
  • Refunds for advance payments (if any) will be processed after deducting applicable cancellation fees.

5. Cancellations by Driver or Raido

  • If a driver cancels a confirmed ride or fails to show up, a full refund will be initiated automatically.
  • In the event Raido cancels a ride due to operational or safety reasons, users will receive a full refund or ride credit as per their preference.
  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment source within 5–10 working days depending on bank timelines.

6. Payment Refund Process

  • All eligible refunds will be processed to the original payment method (bank, UPI, wallet, or card) used at the time of booking.
  • Refunds may take 3–10 working days to reflect depending on the payment provider’s process.
  • Users will receive an email/SMS confirmation once the refund has been processed.
  • In case of technical issues, refunds can also be credited as Raido Wallet Balance for instant reuse.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Rides completed successfully are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • No refund will be issued if cancellation occurs after ride completion or if the user provides incorrect pickup/drop details.
  • In cases of policy misuse, fraud, or multiple booking violations, refunds may be withheld.

8. Payment Disputes

  • In the event of duplicate transactions or unauthorized charges, users are requested to report within 48 hours of the transaction.
  • All disputes will be investigated and resolved within 7–10 business days.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed post-verification of the dispute.

9. Promo Codes, Offers & Wallet Refunds

  • Promo codes or discount offers cannot be refunded or converted into cash.
  • Refunds for rides booked using Raido Wallet or promotional balance will be credited back to the wallet only.
  • Wallet balances are non-transferable and can be used for future rides.

10. Force Majeure Situations

In case of unforeseen events such as natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or technical outages, Raido reserves the right to cancel rides and refund users as per company policy and operational feasibility.

11. How to Request a Refund

  • You can raise a refund or cancellation request directly through the Raido app or website’s “My Rides” section.
  • Alternatively, you can contact our Customer Support Team via email or helpline (listed below).
  • All refund requests must include your booking ID, payment reference, and a brief reason for the claim.

12. Refund Timelines

Refunds will be processed within 3–10 business days from the date of approval. In case of any delay, customers will be notified through email or SMS.
